What Else?

Karsten made the move out to NYC to Off-Broadway's the cell theatre as the artistic intern for the summer of 2022. There, she gained knowledge about the industry in New York, as well as the opportunity from such an experimental theatre, to experience different forms of art and talk with those who create them.

Catalina Island Camps sent out a search for a store manager two weeks before the summer sessions began, Karsten had the extensive experience with both retail and kids and decided to apply. She moved out to the island with one week's notice and became a camp counselor and store manager at one of the highest-rated adventure camps in the US. She then fell in love with the island and decided to reprise her role in the year 2024.

Karsten found a passion for videography and editing while she was in middle school. These videos began with montages of her family vacations, then expanded to her high school theatre productions, and now manifests whenever she has enough videos to encapsulate an influential experience in her life.

Ever since she turned 16, Karsten has always held some type of job, and sometimes more than one! For the last three years, Karsten has been a Box Office Representative at ASU Gammage where she sells tickets to Broadway Tours with Broadway Across America. She says she'll keep this job as long as she possibly can because she loves to mooch free tickets off of her managers.
