Karsten Lane Flake

Karsten is an exciting, story driven actress who leads every performance with creative and thoughtful choices, a powerful belt, and exemplary musicianship. She is currently pursuing a Bachelors of Music in Music Theatre as well as a minor in Dance at Arizona State University. She has experience on the opposite side of the table as she was the artistic intern at Nancy Manocherian's the cell theatre off-broadway in the summer of 2022.  Later this spring, Karsten will be portraying the leading role of Rosalind in Shaina Taub's adaptation of As You Like It with Arizona State. Karsten's most recent credits include Claire in Ordinary Days with Prism Theatre, Ensemble in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812, Schnauzer in the original cast of Mutt: A New Musical Comedy, and was a featured dancer/ Mopsa Understudy in Head Over Heels, all with ASU. She was also apart of the ensemble at Hale Centre Theatre in Unsinkable Molly Brown, as well as Janet van de Graaffe in The Drowsy Chaperone, and Margo in Bright Star, both with Casteel Theatre Company.​​ Karsten is excited to work with you on your next project!
